Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Curate by Slay account and associated data at any time. Account deletion is final and cannot be undone.

Delete from within the app

This is the fastest and most secure way, because it verifies it's really you:

  1. Open the Curate by Slay app. If you have an account, sign in — if you're using Curate as a guest, you're already in.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm. Your account and data are scheduled for deletion immediately.

Can't open the app?

If you've uninstalled the app or can't sign in, you can request deletion by email. Send us a message from the email address on your account so we can verify and process your request.

Using Curate as a guest? A guest account isn't linked to an email address, so we can't verify it that way. On the same iPhone, simply reinstall the app — your guest session comes back automatically — then delete from Settings. If you bought credits and no longer have that device, email us with the date and pack name from your Apple receipt and we'll help.

What gets deleted, and what we keep

When your account is deleted:

  • Account data (your email and username, where you have them, plus your profile) is deleted within 30 days.
  • Generated outfits in your gallery are deleted within 30 days.
  • Reference style images (Mode 2) are already deleted immediately after each generation.
  • Fabric images are removed as part of deletion.
  • Transaction records are anonymized but retained for 7 years to meet our obligations under the Nigeria Tax Act. Anonymization removes your identity while preserving the financial record.
  • Free-trial device fingerprint is kept. This is a one-way cryptographic fingerprint of your device's app identifier, used only to make sure free trial credits are given once per device. It cannot be reversed to identify you or your device, contains no personal information, and is kept deliberately after deletion — otherwise deleting an account would reset the free trial.
